How to use automatic voltage regulator correctly?

2020-07-14

Automatic voltage regulator is a power supply equipment that provides stable and rated voltage for the load. However, I don't need to talk more about the role of the voltage stabilizer and the function of it. Most people know the role of automatic voltage regulators, however: for the use of them, it is estimated that there are still certain unknowns for users who are new to it.

In fact, how to use automatic voltage regulator correctly, actually the most important thing is the wiring method of it. At present, voltage stabilizers can be divided into industrial voltage regulators (industrial voltage regulators generally refer to three-phase voltage regulators, that is, three-phase electricity. The standard voltage in China is 380V). And the mains voltage stabilizer, (the mains voltage stabilizer, that is, the domestic voltage regulator or the single-phase voltage regulator that we often say is currently the domestic standard voltage is 220V).

As for the use of the automatic voltage regulator, the manufacturer has generally set the internal parameters before leaving the factory. The user only needs to take the voltage regulator back and connect it to power.

The relatively complex use of the voltage stabilizer is a three-phase voltage regulator. When using a single-phase voltage regulator, we only need to connect the input power and output power to the relative position marked by the automatic voltage regulator. The FireWire is connected to the FireWire logo corresponding to the voltage regulator, which is generally L, and the Neutral is connected to the Voltage Regulator's Zero Logo. When connecting, pay attention to input and output. It is generally marked on the wiring port.

Compared with single-phase regulators, three-phase stabilizers are more complicated. At present, three-phase voltage regulators can be divided into three-phase three-wire and three-phase four-wire. The connection method is roughly the same as the single-phase regulator, but for three-phase four-wire, the difference from the three-phase three-wire is that the three-phase four-wire regulator has one more neutral line than the three-phase three-wire regulator. When wiring, the neutral wire should not be connected to the live wire mark, which may damage the voltage regulator and the connected load.

Summary: The biggest difficulty and the only work needed to use the voltage regulator is to connect the input and output circuits. When connecting, it is necessary to distinguish the line timing and input and output marks and voltage on the automatic voltage regulator.
